As a locally-owned and operated business, you can count on us to provide a fair offer. Payday advances are typically for two-to four-week terms. Some borrowers, however, use payday advances for several months, which can be expensive.

English Choose a language for shopping. Our venue can host up to 4 events at once however so there is a greater risk of wedding crashers I suppose. I went to a wedding where I gave cash in a card. I later heard from some friends that a lot of the gifts were stolen.
I never received a thank you card, so I assume my gift was stolen. From now on, I give a cheque. Each time I've been very impressed with how fast the cheque was cashed the next day. If you do write a cheque, make sure you make it out to "Bride or Groom" instead of "Bride and groom", in case they don't have a joint bank account yet.
I usually do a gift card or vouchers. I do worry about things getting stolen though. Like Ottawa the last wedding I went to I didn't receive a thank you card, and it was at a strange place that was just like a pub so I do wonder if the gift wandered off.
Or the bride and groom may just be a bit flakey as they are known for! At least not in my circle. But for us, we are pretty lucky because our venue is taking care of all the gifts and putting them away as people come in and security is provided. Stick with cash or a gift card. Or mail the card directly to the couple.
If I write a check, I leave it in the card box. If I'm giving cash, I usually hand it to the groom. I hand it to the groom because they usually have room in their breast pocket in their jacket to hold for safe keeping. I've heard of cards getting stolen a couple of times, figure that writing a check is a little bit of a safer route to go.
I give cash as it is easier for the bride and groom. I always write a Cheque. Much safer and no one but the couple can cash it so what is the point in anyone stealing it.
Even without the whole cards being stolen thing - I have heard maybe here?
